What is Java ?
According to Wikipedia, Java refers to a number of computer software products and specifications from Sun Microsystems that together provide a system for developing application software and deploying it in a cross-platform environment. Java is used in a wide variety of computing platforms from embedded devices and mobile phones on the low end, to enterprise servers and supercomputers on the high end.
Installation
Simply install the following packages :
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin

Restart Firefox and Java should now work!

Okay, it mostly works, but when the terminal gets to the sun-java6-plugin part, it decides to show the customer agreement inside the terminal, where I can’t do a thing except scroll and read.
A little help?
Thanks in advance.

Nice! But can you help me? I did everything, until the time of the customer agreement. Then, I closed Terminal. Now, when I try again, it says:
My OS is Kubuntu 9.04 (64 bits edition). The message was originally in Spanish, so I don’t know if it is what it really say… However, I’ve already told you what I’ve done.
Thanks in advance.
